This is a re-post of A Reasoned Report post dated February 18, 2012. Now that it is 13 months later I submit it again, with an updated title "68 Years Ago Tomorrow". It was 68 years ago tomorrow, when the battle thought by most historians to be the most difficult battle ever fought by United States Marines, ended in victory.
